Population Dynamics of Narrow-Bareed Mackerel (Scomberomorus commersonii) and Wolf Herring (Chirocentrus dorab) in Malacca Strait Waters

Narrow barred Spanish mackerel and wolf herring is an important commodity that has commercialized intensively to fulfill the needs of market, both domestic export. Research been conducted from June-August 2020 in Malacca Strait Waters. The purpose this study analyze dynamics population parameters such as growth rate, mortality exploitation rates, recruitment patterns narrow (Scomberomorus commerson) (Chirocentrus dorab). sample size spanish was taken at random purse seiner gillnet catches. Data obtained were used for analysis parameters. Some estimated using program FISAT II. Von Bertalanffy derived L rate (K),for males 772.8 mm 0.5/year females 979.65 1,7/year, (K), 871.5 0.59/year 1048.95 0.65/year, respectively. Total (Z) 0.61/year 4.07/year 0.36/year 1,3/year. Fishing (F) 0,13/year 3.07/year high than natural (M) 0.48/year 1/year fishing 0.16/year 0.78/year lower 0.52/year. Exploitation (E) 0.21/year 0.75/year 0.44/ year 0,6/year, almost full when compared with optimum 0.40. pattern (14.59%) June (26.84%) August (16.02) (28.63%) July.
